The photo gallery continues to grow! Between my blog and the Celebration intranet, we will soon hit over 3000 visitors to the jungle. These are the latest photos of the triplex/duplex/townhome lawncare that we receive in Celebration. Scroll down for previous examples, and more will be added in the coming days. In some of the newest photos, you will see what looks like bushes, but they are actually weeds that have gotten so large and hearty that they are choking out the real bushes! |

Welcome to the East Village Jungle in Beautiful Celebration, Florida! Ever since we moved into our triplex and didn't receive any lawn care for the first month because no one added us to the list, the lawn services that we pay for each month as a part of our assessment have been spotty at best. Things have reached critical mass, and although it is being blamed on Hurricane Charley (which has kept Davey Landscaping busy with downed trees), the jungle was already well on its way to its present height before the hurricane struck. As you can see, we have a nice little mini jungle going; with the wet weather, it's a perfect breeding ground for those endangered mosquitos. My neighbor was told by Town Hall that the grass would be cut by the end of this week. As of Friday night, August 27, that didn't happen, so with any luck the jungle will be ready for classification as a protected preserve land in another week or two. |
